At QABIM, our extensive BIM experience has allowed us to streamline the process, along with BIM quantity extraction, 3D rendering, and Virtual Reality model production.
Starting from the Design Development Phase, QABIM can support A/E firms with the production of multidisciplinary analytical models; from architectural, structural and MEP models, to environmental and egress models.
Contractors stand to gain the most from QABIM’s services. We start by auditing the designer’s BIM models providing the Contractor with a report of the condition of the model. This helps the Contractor identify and complete missing information early in the project. Coordinated shop drawings are extracted and annotated directly from federated BIM models so accurate and updated Bills of Quantity can be continuously produced in tandem with a cost-loaded Time-Schedule. By adopting a proactive procurement methodology, site logistics become easier to plan and execute.
We also provide support during the execution process, either remotely from our offices or with one of our team members present on-site. This is to record any and all construction deviations from the design model to produce a live, accurate, and up-to-date as-built model, which can includeall manufacturer and warranty data or otherwise as required.
